You should eat those cattails! Haha Seriously, all parts of them are edible and quite nutritious. I haven’t tried them myself, because they aren’t very prevalent here. Neither are those bright red hues on the trees. Only the little maples and birch-type varieties have started to change, not the big-leaf maples or the oaks. Anyway, those are great photos. I would love to be at that nice little pond/lake…
